SOML - Southern Oregon Mathematics League 2013

October 9, November 13, February 12, March 12, April 9

The Southern Oregon Mathematics League conducts up to five math competitions throughout the year. Local high schools form up to 3 teams of 6 junior and senior advanced math students. The competition includes three individual events followed by a team collaboration. Three students from a team compete in each event. Competitions will be held October 9, 2012, November 13, 2012, February 12, 2013, March 12, 2013 and April 9, 2013. 2012 Results

Fifteen high schools from Jackson, Josephine and Klamath counties representing 234 students participated in five meets during the 2011-2012 school year. These schools were divided into two divisions, 4A and 3A-2A. A total of 39 teams participated in all five meets with an additional 18 Junior SOML teams competing in the last meet. Members of the SOU mathematics faculty operated the meets. The coordinator, SOU Mathematics Professor Dr. Kemble Yates, supervised the preparation of questions, reports, and newsletters.
