Middle School Brain Bowl 2010

Middle School Brain Bowl competition involves students in grades 6 to 8 in weekly games similar to athletic competitions offered at this level. Questions are designed to be more challenging as each week passes. By the end, these teams are successfully responding to high school level challenges. Middle School Brain Bowl will be held from January 11 through March 5, 2010.

Middle School Brain Bowl 2009 Results

We came down to the last week for some of the divisions with a couple of ties. All scores are in.  In Division A, Hedrick A was the division winner. In Division B, there was a tie between Grace Christian and Hedrick B. Head to Head play results mean that Grace Christian will be in the semi-Finals. Head to Head results is the first level of tiebreaking. In Division C, New Hope was the division winner. In Division D, there was a tie between Lincoln Savage and Rogue River. Head to Head results mean that Lincoln Savage will play in the semi-finals.

Division Standings and Results

The Semi-Finalist are:

Hedrick A (Division A)
Grace Christian (Division B)
New Hope Christian (Division C)

Lincoln Savage (Division D)

Semi-Finals Results:

The semi-finals took place in two parts. Hedrick A played Grace Christian at Hedrick Middle School. Grace Christian was the winner of that match.  Lincoln Savage played New Hope Christian at Lincoln Savage Middle School. New Hope won that match so they will compete against Grace Christian for the championship on KSYS.

2009 Middle School Brain Bowl Finals

The final match took place Sunday, April 26 on KSYS. Grace Christian School defeated New Hope Christian School by a score of 41-19. Congratulations and thanks to all Brain Bowl participants and coaches for a great year.
