Varsity Bowl is the premier competition at the high school level. Teams generally include juniors and seniors who have competed on previous teams. The winning team from the regional competition has the opportunity to compete in a national competition. Varsity Brain Bowl will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015.
Junior Varsity Brain Bowl competition is a preparatory competition for high school students to compete on a junior varsity team. These teams played in their own brackets competing agains other JV teams. Junior Varsity Brain Bowl will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015.

2014 High School Brain Bowl Results
This years 37th annual Southern Oregon Brain Bowl Competition had a total 25 teams competing in this year’s tournament held Saturday, February 22, 2014 on the Southern Oregon University campus.
At the conclusion of the Varsity competition, we had four semi-finalist teams: Ashland, North Medford, Cascade Christian, and Grants Pass. These teams earned the right to compete for the Varsity Brain Bowl High School Regional Championship title.
These matches will be aired on Southern Oregon Public Television (PBS) on Sunday, April 27th.
Junior Varsity Division 2013
On February 22th, the Junior Varsity Brain Bowl competition for high school Freshmen and sophomores was held at SOU. There were 12 teams from twelve high schools. At the conclusion of the round robin competiton and after some exciting semi-final action, St. Mary's School and Ashland High School were declared the winners and played each other for the Junior Varsity Championship. Ashland prevailed to become the Junior Varsity Brain Bowl Champion for 2013!

The 2013 Sportsmanship Awards were won by the Crater JV team. They were considerate, quiet and gracious…in addition to performing at a high level.

On February 22, 2013 15 brain bowl teams representing twelve high schools participated at SOU. At the conclusion of these matches, four high schools earned semi-finalist status: Ashland, Rogue River,South Medford and North Medford. These teams will compete on Sunday, April 28 on SOPTV from 5:30-7:30PM.
The 2013 Varsity Sportsmanship Award was won by North Valley "A" Team. They were considerate, fun and gracious...while also performing at a very high level.

Ashland High School prevailed over North Medford High School with a score of 68 to 8.
Grants Pass High School prevailed over Cascade Christian High School with a score of 53 to 27.
Ashland High School prevailed over Grants Pass High School with a score of 38 to 31.
