Women in Leadership Symposium
Southern Oregon University's Women in Leadership Symposium is an annual event that began in 2005 and happens around Mother’s Day weekend each year. Each year the symposium takes on a new theme directed toward the same purpose; to better understand the opportunities and challenges faced by women as they provide leadership in the 21st century.
In 2007, theme was Women In Leadership: Leading through Indigenous Wisdom, and was focused around the wisdom of the indigenous peoples of Southern Oregon and Northern California.
