University Seminar - Highlights
Symposium - Wednesday, May 20, 2009
The University Seminar Symposium is a chance for USem students to showcase their work on engaging and provocative issues in the world around us. Throughout the day students present individually or in groups; they can choose from a number of different media and modes, including speech, music, posters, video, art, music, drama, and dance.
Symposium is part of the University-wide SOAR program, with Symposium activities focused on Wednesday, May 20.
University Seminar Students
- Check with your USem instructor for guidelines and due dates for presentation applications.
- Also check with your instructor on the various volunteer jobs where we need your help in producing this important day.
- Plan your schedule and talk to your other instructors for classes that day. Many faculty members will excuse absenses during the SOAR program - Tuesday May 19 through Thursday May 21.
