Senior Mallory Byers earned big wins over the weekend trip.

The Southern Oregon women's tennis team ended their season on a four game winning streak falling just short of the postseason.

The Raiders traveled to Colorado for a two-day road trip taking on Colorado State Pueblo, Colorado College, Colorado Christian, and Metro State College.

SOU showed no signs of jet lag as they defeated CSU-Pueblo 8-1.

Southern swept the singles matches and earned two victories in doubles with Katie Ross and Rebecca Weicher earning a win, while Heidi Chiles and Charlotte Duran earned the other victory.

The Raiders then traveled to Colorado Springs where they defeated Division II Colorado Christian 9-0 in the morning and took on Division III Colorado College in the afternoon earning a 6-3 victory.

Against Colorado College Katie Ross, Mallory Byers and Elizabeth Kiger took home victories in singles play.

Kiger clinched the match for SOU in the No. 6 singles match. SOU won all three doubles matches against the Tigers.

They wrapped up their road trip and the season with a 7-2 win over Division II Metro State Saturday.

SOU continued their doubles dominance sweeping all three matches. Ross, Chiles, Kiger, and Erin Bruni all earned victories in singles play.

The Raiders finished the season with a 10-1 record with their only loss against regional opponent Lewis-Clark State. The loss keeps them out of the postseason.

Senior Katie Ross finished her career with 85 total victories which is third all-time. She also finished with 43 doubles win and 42 singles wins in her career.
