Inter-Club Council

Club Service Hours Funding

ICC has voted in a new club funding procedure that will begin to be implemented in the 2006-2007 school year. Clubs will be granted funding based on their service hours completed and documented. Community service hours are being defined as: outreach assistance through non-profit organizations with no direct financial benefit.

ICC as a group can vote to change any element within this proposal. For Fall Term 2006, ICC will award clubs money based on previous guidelines. Starting in Winter Term 2007, we will look at the amount of community service hours completed in the previous term. In Spring Term 2007, we will look back at two terms worth of community service hours.

Clubs completing 0-40 hours of community service are allowed a maximum budget request of five hundred dollars ($500.00) per year.
Clubs completing 41-80 hours of community service are allowed a maximum budget request of fifteen hundred dollars ($1,500.00) per year.
Clubs completing 81-125 hours of community service are allowed a maximum budget request of two thousand-five hundred dollars ($2,500.00) per year.
Clubs that complete 225 hours of community service for three consecutive years will receive an Initial Budget Level (IBL) of fifteen hundred dollars ($1,500.00). This budget will remain active as long as the club maintains a minimum of 150 hours community service. These clubs will have the privilege of being able to request additional funding while maintaining their IBL, falling under Tier 3.

Again, ICC can vote to change, do away with, or add anything to the current proposal. These monetary figures are guidelines; ICC can vote to award more money than displayed in these tiers at their discretion.
