Spring 2013
Friday-Sunday, May 17-19: PDX JOIN Homelessness Immersion
We will be taking folks to Portland to be a part of a homelessness immersion program with the JOIN organization. JOIN is a drop-in center and housing program for folks experiencing homelessness in the Portland area. Participants will learn about local organizations, resources and the community of Portland. Participants will depart Friday afternoon and return Sunday evening. Trip cost is $25 per person and includes everything you will need for the weekend. Space is limited!

May 23, 1:00-3:00: Campus Cleanup
The Civic Engagement Program and the department of Facilities, Management and Planning will be co-hosting the Second Annual Campus Cleanup on May 23 from 1:00-3:00! For these two hours, we will work together to beautify campus by planting flowers, spreading mulch, and performing general upkeep. Creating a beautiful central campus before commencement would not be possible without the help of staff, student and faculty volunteers! Snacks, beverages, a t-shirt, work gloves and tools provided.
