Stevenson Union
About the SU

The Stevenson Union was built in 1972 and is named after former SOU President Elmo Stevenson. The building is designed to be easily remodeled and expanded to change with needs of our campus community and provides over 100,000 square feet of usable space.
The SU contains four resource centers, student program offices, a food court, meeting and banquet rooms serving groups up to 275, an alcohol and smoke free nightclub, a bookstore, a convenience store, and administrative offices. The SU, along with the Britt Ballroom accomodates over 1,200 meetings annually, with over 400 special setups.
