Stevenson Union
About the SU
The Stevenson Union was built in 1972 and is named after former SOU President Elmo Stevenson. The building is designed to be easily remodeled and expanded in order to accommodate the changing needs of our campus community. The SU provides over 100,000 square feet of usable space.
The SU contains four resource centers, different student program offices, a food court, catering services, meeting and banquet rooms serving groups from 5 to 275, an alcohol and smoke free nightclub, a bookstore, a convenience store, and administrative offices. The SU, along with the Britt Ballroom accomodates over 1,200 meetings annually, with over 400 special setups and over 200 catering requests.
