Southern Oregon University Student Brass Quintet is under the direction of Dr. Cynthia Hutton.
Members of the SOU Student Brass Quintet are all undergraduate music majors in the Department of Performing Arts at SOU and include Jon Janakes and Jesus Mendoza trumpet, Shea Pasche on horn, Monica Hicks on trombone and Troy DeShazer playing tuba. The quintet will perform a variety of works including Keith Snell, English Folk Song Medley, Variations on a Negro Folk Song by William Schmidt, Morley Calvert Suite from the Monteregian Hills, American Patrol plus more.
