The story of IVF is commonly known to the world as In Vitro Fertilization. It is also referred to as IVF-EB as well, which stands for In Vitro Fertilization Pre-Embryo Transfer. This process involves the placement of the successfully fertilized embryo into the mother's uterus. It is described to be very much like a Pap smear. The patient doesn't feel much discomfort on a relative scale of normal pain. It is in my opinion after researching the historical time line and clinical process of IVF that the positive outcomes outweigh any and all negative results. I strongly believe that the family unit is precious, and this avenue allows the American dream… the world wide dream to be fulfilled. It is in human nature to have genetic offspring for our families to survive for many generations to come. When the natural order is disturbed or distorted IVF restores the possibility of offspring.
