Motivation: To achieve a profitable market niche, one must be aware of the epigenetics (the many controllable factors) when dealing with raising cattle. The modifications of the genes represent huge variables in quality and quantity of beef products. Methods: Research on feed patterns, hormonal levels, lactation efficiency and maternal environment were analyzed to find significant effects for the producer to consider. Results: Feed efficiency, nutritional levels and availability of feed play a role in livestock quality, breed ability, and lactation efficiency. Conclusion: The performance of the cattle from birth throughout their life is greatly enhanced by the feed programs, nutritional levels and low stress environment.
