"Involve, educate, inspire" is the mission statement of the education department at Wildlife Images and it sums up exactly what I wanted out of my project. I wanted to educate students about animals so that they will get inspired and get involved with the preservation of Oregon's wildlife. Equipped with a turkey vulture and animal biofacts I went into an elementary school to teach students about animal adaptations. Through this experience I learned how to prepare and present curriculum based solely around animals and how incredible they are. If we introduce our youth to animals early on in their lives then we will hopefully instill a lasting impression that will inspire them to preserve Oregon's natural wildlife.
