Anyone who enjoys spending time in the great outdoors would agree that it is necessary to keep the wilderness in a healthy condition. Environmentalists are constantly facing the challenge of how to provide the greatest quality of outdoor recreation without degrading the water, soil, and vegetation quality in the area. Many forms of recreation are easy to avoid environmental harm while others are not. In this project, I present the best management practices for dealing with outdoor recreation activities such as camping, hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding.
