Voodoo dance has more of a bias than nearly every other dance form. Americans in particular hear the word "voodoo" and immediately think of bloody animal sacrifices, witch craft, sex orgies, and satanic ritual. The negative connotation that comes with the word voodoo is extremely bias and the goal is to give a greater understanding of what voodoo ritual dance actually entails. By researching voodoo dance around the world through magazine reports, interviews, and videos and presenting them in an unbiased manner people will gain a greater understanding of the cultural implications that go along with voodoo ritual dance. The results of researching voodoo dance has led to findings that are not nearly as gruesome as the stereotype, voodoo dance form has an underside that most people will not take the time to understand. The implications that have come from research have led to findings that are surprising and enlightening.
