Accuracy through realization created by simulation and training practices offer preparedness in areas such as healthcare and criminal justice, at the state, local and federal levels. Multidisciplinary approaches to training/education create the "reality" of the event. How are mock crime scenes created at SOU? How does the Criminology & Criminal Justice and Theatre Departments work together to make simulations for students "real"? This poster presentation focuses on creating simulation through special effects blending two disciplines and working with students to shape, educate, and prepare graduates for real word events.
