My poster will explore Mexican Folklorico dance and the effect it has had on the culture of Mexico. There are a few different forms of Folklorico, and I will explore all of them, but primarily focus on Jarabe Tapatio, the most popular of them, also known as the Mexican Hat Dance. This dance has withstood the hard times and grown stronger because of them. This is an integral deep-rooted part of Mexico and its culture today.
