My capstone idea was to create a parents' support club for students who are parents at SOU. The club provides parents with an opportunity to create positive relationships with one another. The club educates parents on fun activities in the community, babysitting connections, cooking for children, infant massage and so much more. It also creates friendships and support groups amongst one another. The club was created to support the parents through their roles as students and care takers. This club is important because it shows SOU what the wants and needs of the parent-student population are.
