My capstone project is based on making reading literacy available to my community. I have been completing my internship at the Klamath County Library in the children's department. My goal was to get the word out about what programs they offer and the great story bags they have. I have also created a few story bags for the library and for a kindergarten classroom. Besides creating the story bags and spreading the word about them to my community, I have been learning about all the programs the child department offers and how to do some library tasks.
