In recent years, there has been a movement in higher education toward community-based education. Community-based education includes service learning, experiential education, internships, capstone research, and practicum projects. This paper will provide a brief discussion of the perceptions and attitudes students have about Community Based Learning at SOU. With this information, educators might be able to implement CBL more effectively and enhance classroom learning objectives.
