My presentation will be on recycling. I did a recycling lesson and art project in three elementary classes for my Community Based Learning Project. The students made recycled art, recycling posters, and a flyer to be distributed throughout the school on the importance of recycling. I will have pictures and artifacts from my lessons on my poster. I will be sharing the student’s artwork as well as talking about reducing, reusing and recycling. It is important for students to understand recycling and its benefits. Teaching students at a young age the importance of recycling will help keep a lot of trash out of landfills. Recycling is important to me. It is something that I want to share with everyone. I want to educate and help students gain skills to make the world better a better place.
