Sparrow Club Fundraiser: For my Capstone Community Based Learning Project I coordinated and organized a Sparrow Club Fundraiser for the Eagle Point High School. I held a dance at the White City Boy’s & Girl’s Club to help raise money for a little girl named Daisy, who suffers from a rare and often terminal disease. This is close to my heart because I have always wanted to be involved in helping children. All the money the Club raised went directly to Daisy and her cause. Babysitting 101: For my Capstone Community Based Learning Project I planned and organized a babysitting clinic for youth ages 12-16 at the church I attend. Many of the babysitters in the community were in need of training. As part of the clinic I created “The Magic Bag”, which functions as a tool box for babysitters.
