Some embrace it others run! What has been the progression of online learning at SOU? Starting as a few courses online and morphing into a degree online, this panel discussion reveals the good, bad, and ugly of online teaching and learning. Faculty from the School of Business program and Criminology & Criminal Justice Department will address questions related to experiences in the online environment. For over a decade,creating classroom without boundaries and promoting learning as a process not a place has been a mission and vision, but not necessarily a strategic plan.During this session the panel will explore the online degree completion programs, courses taught and the evolution over the past several years in the making of this process. What works, what's promising, and what's next? This and more will be discussed with the assistance of the eLearning division.
