This project consisted of several tasks to benefit a local Medford program. The Listo Family Literacy program is a local organization that supports the diverse educational needs of second language learners and their families. The project included teaching Zumba fitness classes to children between the ages of three to thirteen and helping the classes choreograph and perform Zumba Fitness dances for parents and Listo staff members, as well as coordinated a Zumba Fitness fundraiser to promote healthy lifestyles and bridge a community support group around the Listo program. Zumba Fitness is universal and is meant for everyone. From mother to daughter, father to son, family to community, Zumba Fitness has the irresistible ability to bring together people of all shapes, sizes and ages to dance to Latin and International music.
