This project is focused on strengthening and broadening my writing and interviewing skills while I engaged in a new hobby, birding. The presentation will demonstrate the writing tools I have learned throughout the capstone process; how interviewing guests can enhance the vigor of a chosen topic and vary with results, lessons learned about my dedication as a writer, and how to make an idea that was once in brainstorming stages come to fruition. One-two brief readings of the material I have written will be included in the presentation to show examples of writing techniques.
