A group of teachers from the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at SOU will conduct a two-hour session focusing on the Shakespeare plays in production during the current season at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Kathy Rosengren, former Dean of Humanities at Solano Community College, will discuss Henry V. Susan Stitham, who taught English and history from junior high through community college for more than thirty years, and is currently teaching an OLLI course "Everything You Wanted to Know about a Shakespeare Play But Were Afraid to Ask", will speak on Troilus and Cressida. Suzanne Witucki has also shared her love for all things Shakespearean with students for over 30 years and previously lectured for the Road Scholar program in the Bay Area. Suzanne is currently teaching "Such Sweet Sorrow: A Study of Romeo and Juliet" at OLLI. Earl Showerman is a retired emergency physician who has taught, and published on the Shakespeare authorship question in recent years, and will speak on Shakespeare's remarkable medical knowledge.
