In teaching an introductory special education course, one remarkable project is for students to experience a disability for one day. I will be showcasing student experiences during this project. The most popular categories of exceptionalities chosen for the day are Hearing Impaired/Deafness, Vision Impaired/Blind, and Communication Disorder (being silent).
