Many people in Southern Oregon have been choosing to run their homes and businesses on renewable energy in the last decade. Still many people are hesitant to switch because of the steep price point, especially in regard to photo voltaic panels. For this research project we will focus on the economic benefits and incentives for utilizing photo voltaic panels in Southern Oregon. Whether these incentives increase or decrease the implantation of solar panel use. What will solar panel usage look like in the near future? Will more photo voltaic panels get produced allowing the panels to be much cheaper and affordable? Why is it that solar panels are not mass produced right now?
