As sustainability has become an important aspect of planning and people's daily lives we have seen an increase in innovative urban agriculture projects. This study is going to examine good examples of current projects and methods of urban agriculture. Furthermore, it will look at future ideas that could enhance urban agriculture's viability. With energy security becoming less certain this form of local thinking could help aid in lowering fossil fuels reliance on food delivery and production. Local agriculture will reconnect people with their foods increasing smart decisions in the way we eat.
