This project consists of the interaction between Albertsons in Ashland, OR and students doing research at Southern Oregon University looking to better both sides of the playing field; both by becoming more environmentally conscious and engaging with the community all while exercising the triple bottom line. The goal is to take a store to Zero Waste and the journey/complications associated with getting a store to limit its waste processes. The community plays a vital role by providing feedback on what they want, their reactions to corporate sustainable business practices, and finally how both can better themselves in the process. This project is a study in corporate sustainability and looks to give insights into what corporations are practicing in the environmental movement.
