I plan on discussing the correlations between women, makeup, and their identity. I made a survey regarding all of these topics and I plan on sharing the results. Through my research, I have found that the definition of beauty from women on campus was focused on outer perfection. Also my research concluded that makeup influences mood, confidence, self-esteem and the ego of a person. Another topic that I will intertwine within everything is how makeup testing on animals affects women and their identities. All of my research came from sources on campus: my survey, interviews, articles, books. All my survey results came from the mouths of women on campus, same with my interviews. My goal is to alter the thinking process that most individuals have when it comes to the word ‘beauty', and when it comes to makeup testing in general.
