For my research essay I decided to look into the world dance known as Samba, it originated in Brazil and has become the icon dance for the people of Brazil. Where we mainly see this dance is at the greatest party in the world, the Rio De Janeiro Carnival. Through my research I looked into how the dance steps and music of the Samba helped with the globalization of Brazil as a country. Seeing the exciting steps and lively music played along with the elaborate costumes makes this a thrilling and festive dance you want to experience. Along with the exciting world it creates it helped the rest of the world to recognize Brazil as a country, and now all kinds of people all around the world travel to Rio De Janeiro to experience and celebrate the Carnival alongside the Samba dancers.
