The Environmental Education master's program at SOU has grown rapidly over the last four years and has embarked on a variety of exciting initiatives. This session will present new trends within the field of environmental education both nationally and within the EE program, especially our Fall in the Field program offered to more than 750 students annually at Deer Creek Center in Selma, Oregon and on the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument. In addition, this session will explore university-led social and environmental change on a local, regional, and national level through research and student-driven projects taking place in the community.
