With imagination, purpose and passion artists and scientists investigate our physical reality to many ends, including the telling of stories, answering questions, educating, expressing, and persuading others that truth has been revealed. Although my visual vocabulary has been shaped by science, what I have learned and what I feel finds easy translations into my art. The ancient art of mosaic well suits the expression of my vision, in part because the technique is simple, and I am a man of few words.
