Schneider Museum of Art

Support the Schneider Museum of Art!

A little over 20 years ago, the Schneider Museum of Art became a dream come true for the southern Oregon region.  Between Eugene, Oregon and Sacramento, California there were no other large fine art facilities; a surprising thing given the quantity and quality of fine art produced and shown in galleries around the community of Ashland.  The Schneider Museum began as a community effort, and continues to be a community effort to this day.  Volunteering, becoming a member, participating in fund-raising activities, sponsoring museum events or considering a planned gift are all ways that you, the community of southern Oregon can continue to participate in this unique joint effort.

For a little over 20 years, the Schneider Museum has grown in its visibility in the southern Oregon community through the Museum's unique selection of fine art exhibitions that stimulate the mind and the eye, community education programs that reach the young and the old, gala events and entertaining First Friday participation in the Ashland Gallery Association's Art Walks.  During this 20 year period on the Southern Oregon University campus, a Center for Visual Arts has grown up around the crown jewel that is the Museum, bringing a dynamic interaction between student art and the five world class art exhibitions at the Museum each year.

Consider the ways that you can participate in the community enterprise that is the Schneider Museum of Art.  Here are a few:

  • Membership in the Museum
  • Corporate Sponsorship
  • The Endowment
  • Planned Giving
  • The Art Affair
  • Oregon Cultural Trust
