Kids’ Camps (ages 6-12)
Fantastical Art!
August 4-7
Discover the magic of art through colorful potions, magical mixtures, and artful creations. Let your imagination soar by inventing unicorns, mermaids, magical beasts and more. Create your own magical look with colorful wands, rings, hats, and capes.
Art on the Wild Side - - - - - -
August 11-14
Calling all animal lovers! Make animals come alive through drawing, painting, and sculpture. Make murals, mini and large models, masks, dioramas, toy figures, animal games and more! You will even make your own fuzzy pet to share your summer adventures.
Art Out of This World - - - - - - -
August 18-21
Step out of this world into a world of your imagination. Make aliens, magical beings and fantastic creatures to go with a newly discovered land you create! Construct 3-D models, time machines, and transport vehicles to give your characters a chance to explore.
SMA art education program coordinator, Rebecca Olien, is the head teacher for each camp. She has twenty years teaching experience and has written several books sharing her creative approach to discovery learning
Adult Camp cost: $85 ($75 museum members)
Kids’ Camp cost: $85 ($75 museum members)
