Call for Artists x2...
Mythical State of Jefferson
Art Show
Calling all artists, writers, actors, musicians, dancers and designers!
Southern Oregon University’s Schneider Museum of Art is looking for a few good artists.
We are seeking excellent works for a show and performances about the Mythical State of Jefferson.
We want creative individuals and groups working in any media, who are willing to join with us in exploring the ideas, politics, history and/or the appearance of The Mythical State of Jefferson.
· We want to know if you have something to say about democracy in America?
· We want to know what you think or feel about taking destiny in your own hands?
· We want to hear from you about whether creating another state would be a good idea?
· In addition, we want to know if you have a new (or old) perspective about the State of Jefferson to share with audiences?
Sooo, got good ideas?
If you can hear or read this message, or share a sympathetic state-of-mind, you are eligible to submit your work or ideas.
Please respond by January 1, this show will open May 6 and runs until June 12, 2010.
