Schneider Museum of Art
The Art Affair
The Schneider Museum of Art’s Art Affair is a gala event held in the fall each year to benefit the Museum's diverse educational and cultural programs, in particular, the Museum's Bus Program which reimburses school districts in Southern Oregon's Jackson, Josephine and Klamath Counties for bus transportation to the Museum. Annually the Museum provides the opportunity for 4000 to 5000 school children to be exposed to world class art.
Speakers at previous Art Affairs have included nationally and internationally acclaimed artist/sculptor Rick Bartow, author Barbara Drake, and philanthropist and art collector Jordan Schnitzer.
The evening includes gourmet hors d’oeuvres, a no-host bar and an elegant dinner with wine as well as a silent auction.
All proceeds from the Art Affair benefit museum programs and exhibitions. A portion of the money raised supports school bus transportation to bring children from Jackson, Josephine, and Klamath counties to the museum. For more information call 541-552-8248.
