Directions
Located at the corner of Siskiyou Boulevard and Indiana Street on the Southern Oregon University campus. The Museum and Southern Oregon University are most directly accessible off of Interstate 5 at Exit 14, the southern Ashland exit.
From Exit 14, turn onto Ashland Street (Highway 66). (From the south, turn left onto Ashland Street and cross the highway overpass. From the north, turn right.) Continue down Ashland Street, in the left lane, to the third traffic light at the corner of Ashland Street and Siskiyou Boulevard. (There is no left turn at Siskiyou and Ashland Street.) Immediately after turning right into the left lane of Siskiyou, there is another traffic light at the corner of Indiana Street and Siskiyou. Pull into the left turn lane at this intersection and turn left onto Indiana Street. Look for signs. Parking is located to the left, just off of Indiana Street. This is a pay lot. Or a few 45 minute parking spaces are located behind the Museum. To request a parking permit, mailed in advance call Kim at 541/552-8243.
From Exit 19, the northern Ashland exit, turn onto Valley View Road. (From the north, turn right. From the south, turn left and cross the highway overpass. Proceed to the traffic signal at the corner of Valley View and Highway 99 and turn left. Highway 99 eventually turns into North Main Street and leads into downtown Ashland. Continue straight through downtown Ashland keeping in the right two lanes past Pioneer (where you will find the Oregon Shakespeare Festival), past First and Second Streets. After Third Street, Main Street veers left at the Ashland Fire Station. In the right two lanes, however, continue straight onto Siskiyou Boulevard. Southern Oregon University is approximately one mile south of downtown Ashland on the right. Continue to the southern end of the campus and turn right at Siskiyou and Indiana Street. Look for signs. Parking is located to the left, just off of Indiana Street. This is a pay lot.
