Explore the exciting journey of new plays, adaptations and translations. Learn about individual playwrights, their visions and inspirations and the challenges of transforming a two-dimensional work into a theatrical experience performed on-stage.

The Joint Was Jumpin': Jazz in the Harlem Renaissance
Combine creative influences of Langston Hughes, Duke Ellington, visual artists, the Cotton Club, gangsters and Prohibition, with the post-WWI boom and the rise of the African American in the north, to see what music was born of that cultural heydey.
