Oregon Shakespeare Festival: A Week at the Theatre
Popular course combines guided theatre tour and classes with theatre artists from the Oregon
Shakespeare Festival professional company. Tour includes all 3 theatres, OSF history and interesting
facts about the festival. Tickets reserved for 3 plays.

Othello: "One That Loved Not Wisely But Too Well"
Othello's almost platonic relationship with the divine Desdemona serves as the emotional fulcrum
around which private passions explode into grand and beautiful poetry. In some sense we come
to pity the noble Othello even more than we pity Desdemona.

Shakespeare's Sonnets
Explore the soaring lyricism and hidden meanings of the Bard's sonnets, first printed when he was
45 years old. Are all the love sonnets for the same person? Who is that? What prompted this
outpouring of emotion in such an expressive form of poetry?
