Popular course combines guided theater tour, classes with theater artists from the Oregon Shakespeare Festival professional company. Tour includes all 3 theatres, OSF history and interesting facts about the festival. Tickets reserved for three plays.

Why do August's plays resound so strongly with theatregoers? Explore themes in his writing that relate to his own life and the history of the African-American experience. Learn about the man behind the words that have captured America's imagination.

Women in Shakespeare
From sweet Rosalind to scheming Lady Macbeth, explore the position of women in the 16th century as sketched in the Bard's work. Compare spirited young women before marriage, after marriage, outside of marriage, and women as mothers and mature women.

The April program will be held at the luxurious Ashland Springs Hotel in downtown Ashland. Two dinners and two lunches on your own where you can try more outstanding local restaurants. Program includes walking from hotel to theatres and restaurants.
