CL: With 29 days left as Provost, I am working on transition activities.  Earl Potter will be in town spending time touching base.  I will be teaching in a department summer field course in July and won’t be far off.

The only real activities now are to finish up evaluations on all direct reports.  Am working on faculty contracts ahead of schedule.  I will not be going to the COPLAC meeting, but Judith Ginsberg, Curt Bacon and Ed Battistella will go.

Thank you for all of your hard work this year.  We will miss George Converse and Bill Danley [both retiring].  Bill has been an eloquent spokesman for SOU at ISF.

Remarks from the Student Senate (Jonathan Bilden)

None: student senator was not present.

Reflections from the Outgoing Chair (Garth Pittman)

Review of original survey from the fall, our goals and progress we have made.

Remarks from the President (Elisabeth Zinser)

Thank you to Charles Lane for an extraordinary job as interim provost.

Thanks to Garth Pittman for his commitment in heading the Faculty Senate.

Thank you to old and new senators.

Retiring senators are excused and new senators introduced.
