The Schuman Collection of Musical Instruments will have a permanent home in the lower level of the Southern Oregon University Music Building. The entry is adjacent to parking lot, located off of Mountain Avenue, making for very easy access for all wishing to view the Collection.
The space simply needs installation of new flooring, ceiling, lighting, and humidity controls, at which point it can be opened to the public for viewing. We are seeking donations totaling $150,000, at which point the project will commence. It is estimated that the space could be completed and open to the public just months after the final funds are secured.
