As the Associate Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, and as a musician by training, I am honored to serve as Chair of the Board. The Schuman Collection of Musical Instruments is a gateway through which the greater community, whether in person or virtually, can experience the world's cultures. This beautiful collection allows us to understand the greater world in which we live through its musical artifacts, and we hope that our website makes this collection accessible to all.
