Kenny Arnette began teaching at SOU in the fall of 2006, after teaching for several years in eastern Washington state. His education includes a Ph.D. in counseling psychology (1997) from Colorado State University and a Ph.D. in chemistry (1981) from Florida State University. His research and teaching interests include geropsychology, thanatology (death, dying, grief and loss), abnormal psychology, neuropsychology, philosophical and theoretical psychology, and the study of consciousness. He currently teaches General Psychology and Lifespan Development, as well as supervision of graduate students in their training as counselors.
