The Community Preschool at SOU
STAFF
The preschool is operated as a self-support program under the supervision of the School of Education. The staff consists of two Master teachers who supervise practicum and work study students and volunteers.
Maureen Honeycutt, Teacher
Maureen Honeycutt earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology, with an endorsement in Early Childhood Education in 1990. She worked as a head teacher at Duck's Nest Preschool in Berkeley, CA. from 1990-1997. She returned to Ashland to raise her family, and went back to teaching in 2003. She has 2 school-aged daughters, and volunteers weekly at their school.
Rina Pryor, Teacher
Rina has a BA from the University of California Berkeley and a Masters of Art in Teaching from Oregon State University. She taught various elementary grades levels from 1996-2002 before joining the staff at The Preschool at SOU in 2005. She has three small children of her own.
