Tickets to SOU Music concerts and Theatre productions are available by calling the SOU Performing Arts Box Office at 541-552-6348 or from the Box Office on Monday-Friday, noon to 6 p.m. and two hours prior to each performance. The Box Office is located in the lobby of the Theatre Arts building on South Mountain Avenue in Ashland. Or you can purchase tickets online:

Christoph Bull Organ Recital. Bull is currently the university organist and organ faculty member at UCLA. He has worked with the L.A. SOU Tutunov Piano Series featuring Marco Tezza. Tezza, a prominent Italian soloist and artistic director of the Stravinskij Chamber Orchestra, will perform music by Schumann, Liszt, and Wagner. Little Shop of Horrors — Book and lyrics by Howard Ashman, music by Alan Menken
Based on a classic low-grade, semi-campy horror film, about a man-eating plant that takes over the life of a nebbishy flower-shop employee and his long-suffering girlfriend, Little Shop of Horrors was a long-running Broadway hit and a popular movie in the 80s. Directed by Michael Hume of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Performances on Thursday-Saturday, May 15-17, May 22-24 and May 29-31 at 8 pm and Saturday-Sunday, May 24-25 and May 31-June 1 at 2 pm. Oregon Fringe Festival is a week of ongoing performances and art installations that push the boundaries of creativity and imagination in unexpected spaces. Produced by the Producers' Group of SOU students from Music, Theatre Arts and Visual Arts, the performances feature the work of SOU students and special guest artists. Saxophonist Andrew Farina Senior Recital. Farina will perform on alto saxophone, baritone saxophone and bass saxophone. The concert includes works written by Paul Creston, Jean-Baptiste Singelee, and more. SOU's own "New Spec's" saxophone quartet will perform a piece by Jean Rivier. Music Recital Hall. Free admission. The Metal Children by Adam Rapp
When he learns that his young adult novel about teenage pregnancy has been banned by a school board in a small Midwestern town, a down-on-his-luck New York writer takes an eye-opening journey to the heartland. A play about clashing values, adolescent angst, and the relationship between art and life. Directed by David McCandless. SOU Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Cynthia Hutton, presents an evening of music titled “Counterpoint.” This investigation of musical counterpoint includes Paul Hindemith’s “Symphony for Band” and Jindrich Feld’s “Divertimento for Wind Orchestra.” Also featured on the program is SOU percussion student, Adam Lions, performing Ney Rosauro’s “Concerto for Marimba and Wind Ensemble.” Music Recital Hall. $10 regular, $5 senior, free to full-time students. Join the SOU Chamber Choir and the newly formed Concert Choir, both under the direction of Dr. Paul French, as they celebrate the music of the Baltic countries. "Music at the Edge of the Earth: Music from the Baltic States” will feature folk music from throughout the region including music by the award-winning composers Erik  Esenvalds, Ola Gjeilo and Veljo Tormis.
