Welcome to Parking Services at Southern Oregon University
2014-2015 Oregon Administrative Rules have been updated. Read them here.
The parking department is looking to hire students for several part time jobs writing parking citations. For more info visit CareerLink, or email email@example.com.
Please Note: Parking regulations are enforced year-round in campus lots, including summer term.
2015-2016 Parking Permits are now available to purchase. You can do so via MySOU by selecting the Parking Self-Service link (listed below). The new permits will be valid starting now until the end of summer term 2016.
Parking is first come first serve, buying a parking permit does not guarantee you a parking space.
Enforcement of new parking permits will begin October 5th, 2015
Parking permits must be ordered online. Click on the following link to purhcase primary permits, secondary permits, motorcycle permits, carpool permits, and faculty/staff hang-tags. UPCOMING CHANGES TO CAMPUS PARKING
-Within the next couple weeks, lot 3 (located off Wightman Street in front of Greensprings) will be changing from permit parking to 1-Hour visitor parking only.
-Additionally in lot 3 we now have two ZipCars available for students, faculty/staff, and the public to rent. To learn more about the zipcar program, visit: www.zipcar.com
-Due to McNeil construction, the lot 1 parking meter will soon be moved to the lower (Northern) part of lot 37 (University way). Lot 37 will still be for yellow permits, however once the meter goes in it will also be open for visitors to pay at the meter. The parking meter rates will still be $1.00 an hour across campus.
