Parking Services

EVENTS

I am hosting an event on campus, how do I arrange parking for attendees?

Parking on campus is no longer free. Over the summer, many of the usual free spaces have been removed in order to provide much neded maintenance funding. A fair share has been initiated whereas workshops, conferences, events such as Music, Theatre, Athletics, and the events held at the Stevenson Union are contibuting a small amount of ticket sales revenue to relieve the burden placed on Faculty, Staff and weekday students. We understand the burden placed on the departments, clubs and community events and will try and work with everyone to contribute a small fair-share charge for your guests parking.

Please make arrangements at least three weeks in advance and provide a contact name with an e-mail address to forward a copy of the required contract.

Contact Parking Event Management at 552-6211 or on-line: www.sou.edu/parking/event-parking.

Event is defined as any activity occurring on Southern Oregon University property in which the sponsors or attendees pay a fee to attend which requires use of parking spaces normally occupied by students and staff. At least, three weeks before your planned event please contact:

Dianne York, Parking Event Coordinator, 541-552-6211 or dyork@sou.edu

All parking lots are enforced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Make your guests and event attendees feel welcomed by pre-providing ample parking space that doesn't interupt their first visit.

Online Parking Event Request Form

Southern Oregon University departments hosting meetings or events on campus should arrange parking for guests/participants through the events coordinator:
